Aliens and Subterraneans

It is thought by many that an alien and subterranean world exists beneath us all. Caverns, after all, filled with strange treasures and bizarre beasts sometimes yawn out of the depths, bringing the unpleasant odors of sulphur and bat guano to the outside world. Often, particularly in strongly-magical places like Roswell (in the middle of the New Mexico desert, a strange and powerful place), aliens and subterraneans both exist in the hollow earth, interacting and perhaps plotting in ways we don’t understand.

These subterranean worlds may be where lost races from the early days of mankind took refuge; or they could be the dug-out creation of aliens who may or may not mean us harm. UFOlogists often suggest that UFOs come from these subterranean places, often because mysterious underground places are often found in the same places UFOs are found. One of the earliest close encounters, in fact, happened in a Spanish cave in 1896, when two mysterious golden-skinned children were brought out of a cave and told tales, when they learned a language besides their own unknown tongue, of living in a land very different from our own world.

Socrates even talked about enormous hollow lands within the world inhabited by man, great caverns with flowing rivers and alien races. Socrates also talked about Atlantis, a place that scientists discounted for many years until it was found that the Minoan island of Thera fit the bill almost perfectly, albeit with a few easily-explained mathematical errors. Who can say whether he had information about these alien lands beneath our feet that we lack today?

Kokoweef Peak in southwestern California may be a perfect example. Following information shared by natives, the miner Earl Dorr found Crystal Cave and explored a hidden tunnel to about a mile in depth. At the bottom he found a huge cavern, which held a black sandy river that deposited a fortune of gold along its banks. Though the cavern is lost today, treasure hunters still seek it.

The same Indians that Dorr spoke to, the Hopis, told legends about emerging from a world beneath the ground near Flagstaff, Arizona – a region rich in caverns that go surprisingly deep, and rich in mysical power as well. The Hopi are not the only natives with stories like this, but few give specific locations in the same manner.

Whether or not these ancient civilizations said to be beneath the earth’s crust exist, we don’t know; we do know that in hundreds of places around the world, governments have built subterranean tunnels and bases, creating in effect a secret underground world that most of us do not have access to. Often, these man-made places are linked closely with UFO sightings and stories.

It may be irrelevant whether these aliens and subterraneans exist in any way that we can touch. Humanity has a rich underground life of its own; each of us have subterranean lives and existences that few can touch. These low reaches of our own minds and souls, while often frightening and dark, can be leveraged to produce enlightenment, a true understanding of who and what we are, and of how we can interact with others in such a way that allows us the purest fulfillment of our own realities and theirs.

Seek out the subterraneans, if you must. Look for understanding. But never mistake your search to understand the unknown beyond yourself for the search to understand it within yourself. Power is not to be accessed by reaching out, but only by dipping within, where your own dark recesses hold power and secrets beyond imagine.
